Repair JVC video camera unable to focus / zoom?

This is not an answer, but I bought two JVC camcorders and both went bad in short periods of time. A goves a blank screen and the other does not count at all. The next time you buy a video camera im going to buy a upper-end model and Insurance because these things are simply too fragile and although I spent 1300 and $ 800 in mine, I CNAT repair. A waste of my money hard earned
